DyslexiaBar Ideas Illuminated

Hi, my name is Brian Thornber. I am a 16 year old 11th grade student, interested in becoming a 3D Printing Engineer. I've made an object, to help me improve my skills, and to help other people with every day problems.

Dyslexia is one of the most common disabilities riddling Americans. It can make it hard to read certain words, or just jumble them all together. That's where the DyslexiaBar comes in. It is an extremely simple design, based off of an age old trick. The DyslexiaBar is extremely simple, in the fact that it blocks out the line of text above, and below, making it simpler to focus on a specific line. It has a keychain loop, for ease of access and thump holders, for grip. It takes about 10 minutes to make, and barley uses any plastic.
