The original specimen is over 75 years old. This is a remarkable print made from a CT scan of a university fetal collection specimen. Never before seen.

This baby suffered from Anacephaly, or the failure of the cranial vault to form, reducing the amount of brain matter that forms. This child had nothing but the brain stem, and was incompatible with life. Rare specimen!
